In partnership with businesses, communities and educators, Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their economic success. Each Junior Achievement program encompasses one or more of our three pillars of student success:
- Financial Literacy
- Work Readiness
Junior Achievement classroom lessons are taught by trained business and community volunteers who teach with a mentoring attitude about what they know best. By sharing their personal and professional experiences, classroom volunteers help students make the connection between education and their future success.
Junior Achievement and Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards
All Junior Achievement curricula are correlated to the Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards for K-12 education. Arizona’s College and Career Ready Standards are designed to align with college and real-world work expectations by including rigorous content and application of knowledge through high-order skills – exactly the methodology that JA programs have always been based upon.
