Scholarship and Essay Programs

Congratulations to our Junior Achievement scholarship winners for the 2011-2012 school year.


Johann Beishline and Clarissa Graham were each awarded the $2,100 Steven G. Mihaylo Scholarship. Johann graduated from Cactus Shadows High School and participated in the Junior Achievement program in Ms. Louise Rochford’s class with JA volunteer Jaclyn Boyes. Clarissa graduated from McClintock High School and participated in Mrs. Robin Palmer’s class with JA volunteer Scott Kelly.


Nyle James was awarded the $1,500 Guy L. Lunt Memorial Scholarship. He will complete his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona in 2014. Nyle received a continuing scholarship this year. He is a graduate of Marcos de Niza High School.


Natasja Nielsen was awarded the $1,000 Warren C. Scott Memorial Scholarship. Natasja graduated from Chaparral High School and participated in the Junior Achievement program in Mrs. Patricia McCreary's class with JA Volunteer Duke Merhavy.
