JA INSPIRE COORDINATOR
Are you an organized, mission‑driven problem solver who loves turning chaos into clarity and systems into success?
Junior Achievement of Arizona is looking for someone who doesn’t just complete tasks — they make things run better. If you thrive in an environment where initiative is celebrated, details matter, and your work directly supports tens of thousands of Arizona students each year, we’d love to meet you.
For over 65 years, Junior Achievement has equipped young people with the skills to succeed in work and in life. We are a team of passionate, collaborative professionals who care deeply about our mission and about one another. If you want meaningful, challenging, and gratifying work with purpose, you’ll fit right in.
About the Role
We are seeking a high‑performing, self‑starting JA Inspire Coordinator to join our Inspire Program team. This full‑time, 40‑hour‑per‑week role reports to the JA Inspire Director and partners closely with program delivery staff, educators, and internal teams. You should be someone who naturally takes ownership, anticipates needs, and brings structure and efficiency to every project.
In this role, you will be the operational backbone of JA Inspire — handling logistics, managing data, supporting teachers, preparing class materials, and ensuring our team stays aligned and ready to serve schools with excellence.
Who You Are
You’re someone who blends organization, accuracy, communication, and follow‑through — with a strong passion for education and technology. You are motivated, curious, and comfortable navigating both people and systems.
You excel in:
- Passion & Purpose — You believe in JA’s mission and bring energy, care, and commitment to your work.
- Data Mindset — You love numbers, clean information, and making data meaningful and usable.
- Tech Savviness — You are confident with digital systems, can incorporate AI tools into your workflow, and feel comfortable with basic coding concepts.
- Troubleshooting Skills — You can calmly help teachers and partners resolve tech issues with patience and clarity.
- Communication — You are a strong, clear writer and communicator, especially in email and educator outreach.
- Initiative & Ownership — You see what needs to be done, take action, and follow through without being asked.
- Adaptability — You adjust easily to new situations, shifting priorities, and evolving program needs.
- Organization — You manage details with precision, juggle multiple priorities, and keep information flowing smoothly.
Even on challenging days, you bring positivity, professionalism, and a solution‑minded approach.
What You’ll Do
As a core member of the JA Inspire team, you will:
- Generate backend teacher links on our platform and distribute them to educators.
- Manage weekly agendas for team meetings.
- Inventory, organize, and prepare materials and kits for presentations and events.
- Maintain and update class lists as schools are added or canceled.
- Manage pre‑ and post‑student data collection, reporting, and internal summaries.
- Oversee updates to all Free & Reduced Lunch (F&R) data when the new ADE list is published each spring.
- Support survey distribution, including reminder outreach to maximize completion.
- Perform scavenger hunt management and maintenance, including mailing prize gift cards.
- Coordinate registrations and accommodations for events and conferences.
- Support creation of the year‑end Impact Report.
- Jump in wherever needed — when fires break out, everyone grabs a bucket (including our dogs — yes, we’re dog friendly!).
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administrative coordination, program support, or related fields
- Strong organizational and detail‑management skills
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and digital tools
- Tech‑confident and eager to learn new systems, including AI tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple moving parts in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience in education or nonprofit program support preferred
- Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
