#AZGivesDay is Apr. 3! How are you participating?

#AZGivesDay is Tuesday, April 3. It’s an important way our community rallies together to say, “We care about our future!”

You don’t have to do much to make a difference on #AZGivesDay. Here’s how you can help us succeed without a huge hit to your pocket:

Donate to JA and get it back, dollar-for-dollar, on your AZ Tax Return using the AZ Charitable Tax Credit (up to $400/individual or $800/couple). You have a chance to direct your tax dollars toward a cause you care about ! If you haven’t filed your 2017 tax return, don’t miss this opportunity! And, now is the time to get ahead for 2018.
Share on Social Media. If you’re passionate about preparing kids to succeed in work and life, don’t keep it to yourself — spread the word. Share why Junior Achievement is near to your heart — were you or your child impacted by JA? Are you passionate about giving today’s kids critical life skills? Sharing these stories helps people learn about the important work we do together!
Make It a Competition. Challenge your friends to a little game — have everyone choose a charity on #AZGivesDay and then compete to see who can bring in the most support for that nonprofit. You can each create a Fundraising Page on Facebook or AZGives.org. Bonus: Losers have to donate to the winner’s charity of choice.
Join the Conversation. In the days leading up, add these hashtags (#AZGivesDay #JAArizona) to your posts and online conversations about our community. Offer a solution to some of our community’s plaguing problems by raising awareness for JA programs.
