JA DAY – ESPERANZA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
JA Day is more than just a day of lessons; it’s a day of transformation. Volunteers from local businesses and the community step into classrooms and bring learning to life by sharing their real-world experiences. This unique event turns an entire elementary school into a hub of financial literacy and future-ready skills.
Each classroom is paired with a volunteer or volunteer team who guides students through five engaging, age-appropriate lessons designed by Junior Achievement. These lessons are easy to follow, with all materials provided, but the true magic happens when volunteers connect the concepts to their own careers and life stories. Students don’t just learn about money and decision-making; they see how these skills matter in the real world.
