At Junior Achievement of Arizona, we’re committed to helping the next generation succeed in work and life. That’s why we’re happy to share this digital storytelling contest — not only does it give students the chance to explore a potential career path, it gives them a chance to win prizes.
This free competition, The Edit, was designed by NBCU Academy and Adobe to encourage students to learn media and digital literacy skills. The contest also gives students an opportunity to see if they’d be interested in pursuing a career in film and media.
Participants must create a 90-second video news report about mental, physical, or financial well-being for a chance to win. Online tutorials, guides, and other helpful resources are available to support students as they work on their projects. Three middle schoolers and three high schoolers from across the country will be selected as winners of prizes such as GoPros and Fandango gift cards. Submissions are due by March 3, 2025. To get started, register for The Edit or log into your account.
