JA BIZTOWN & JA FINANCE PARK VOLUNTEERS
Our JA BizTown and JA Finance Park help students take learning from the classroom to application, allowing them to see what is possible for their futures. By assisting students through the JA BizTown or JA Finance Park experience, you are showing students how to utilize financial and career skills needed for adult life!
Training is provided the day of for all volunteer opportunities and time commitments are approximately 4-6 hours.
TYPES OF SIMULATION VOLUNTEERS
- JA BizTown volunteers assist 5th and 6th graders in running a fictitious business in a child-sized economy in order to pay off their loan and engage in the buying and selling of goods.
- JA Finance Park volunteers facilitate a financial literacy simulation with 6th-8th grade students in which they navigate making budgeting and spending decisions based on a given life scenario.
The JA BizTown team is here to answer your questions and help you be successful no matter how you volunteer!

YOUR VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE – JA BIZTOWN
When you arrive on your volunteer day, you will complete a volunteer agreement and participate in a 1-hour training in which all necessary tools and instructions will be provided.
