The JA Elementary Learning Experiences equip students to navigate a rapidly changing world while also opening doors to future career opportunities and success. The curriculum integrates the JA Mindset™, character, and competencies that spark self-motivation and confidence to pursue academic and career interests and develop future-ready youth.

So what are the JA Elementary Learning Experiences? They’re a series of programs that begin with a focus on the individual in kindergarten. As students progress through each grade level, their understanding broadens to encompass their role in the economy and the importance of their contributions to society, ultimately reaching a national perspective.

Through experiential hands-on activities, students learn:

  • About the economy and the foundational principles of managing money
  • How personal interests relate to future jobs and real-world career opportunities
  • The principle of innovation and developing an entrepreneurial mindset
  • How they can shape their future and make a positive impact at all levels of society

How to Get Involved

Changing the world starts with each young person. They are part of something larger: a family, a community, a nation. JA programs equip young people with the skills and mindset they need to thrive at each level. Here are some ways you can get involved:

Invest in a Brighter Future

Donate to Junior Achievement of Arizona and transform your community investment into measurable impact. Our outcome-based learning experiences are designed to achieve key outcomes that accelerate economic opportunity and mobility for youth by helping students understand the value of education in achieving future financial and career success while instilling hope and confidence in their abilities.

Together, we can bridge the gap between education and societal needs. JA’s learning experiences equip young people with the skills and mindset necessary to achieve their potential, contributing to healthier communities and a more robust society. By investing in JA Elementary Learning Experiences, you enable young people to develop the skills, mindsets, and behaviors needed to navigate a rapidly changing world, opening doors to future work opportunities and financial success.
