JA Money in Motion

Junior Achievement of Arizona is partnering with rural schools throughout Arizona to provide JA Money in Motion at no cost to your school. This program teaches 3rd through 12th grade students how to plan for their financial futures, giving them the knowledge they need to own their economic success.

OVERVIEW

JA Money in Motion brings a realistic, on-site simulation to your school. Students engage with community volunteers to build a budget with 8-14 categories. The program also offers educator-led customizable curriculum to help teach students a variety of financial literacy and career readiness skills.

STUDENT TAKEAWAYS

  • Differentiate between things people need to buy and things people want to buy.
  • Compare and contrast a variety of spending options as they complete a budget.
  • Explain the benefits of contributing to a savings account.
  • Identify qualities and skills employers look for when hiring.

JA Money in Motion complements what hard-working educators are already doing to prepare our youth to succeed in the future, both personally and professionally. Are you in?
