Adrian Ramos
Education Director, In Classroom
Adrian Ramos is a two-time Sun Devil obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Wellness and a Master’s Degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education at Arizona State University (ASU). His research focused on the impact of peer coaching on first-generation transfer students at ASU which influences his current approach when coaching and better understanding members of his team.
Being both a first-generation American and first-generation college graduate, his educational experiences have greatly influenced his area of specialization. As a servant-transformative leader he strives to impact the educational experiences for others by improving educational equity, access, and retention for marginalized communities.
Throughout his professional career Adrian has worked, interned, and volunteered alongside many educational non-profits and college-preparatory programs to help inspire the next generation of leaders. Most recently he served as the Branch Director of a grant funded school-site for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley (BGC). In this role he founded and oversaw a 21st Century Community Learning Center funded through the Arizona Department of Education, in partnership with BGC, to help increase after-school learning opportunities for K-6 youth.
In his current role, Adrian oversees the implementation of our in-classroom curriculum offered in K-12 environments across the state of Arizona. Working collaboratively with his team, Adrian hopes to expand the reach we have in classrooms and continue to impact the lives of students by providing them with the tools necessary to succeed in the ever-changing career landscape of the 21st century.
