How Do I Teach My JA Lesson(s)?
You should have a received a kit with everything you need to successfully lead students through each lesson. But if you want to review best practices and understand more, check out our lesson video repository. All you need to know is your assigned grade level!
I enjoy volunteering for JA because I understand that especially with the older kids, they need a role model who they can perceive as “wanting” to spend time with them and not doing it from a parent or teacher role. Children deserve to know that there are people outside of their immediate circle who believe in them, root for them, and want to invest in their future — even if that is by simply sharing my own personal experiences.
