Junior Achievement of Arizona (JA) State Board of Directors Member Responsibilities and Pledge Commitment Form 2024
Board members are pivotal to supporting Junior Achievement in preparing Arizona youth to succeed in work and life. This form helps to plan your involvement and commitment for the 2024 calendar year and helps JA identify what ways you intend to engage with JA.

As a Board member I agree to:
• Attend all board meetings; be prepared by reading materials in advance.
• I will make every effort to attend meetings in person and limit absences.
• I will notify JA staff in advance when I have a conflict and am unable to attend a meeting and provide my input on agenda items in advance when appropriate.
• Actively promote JA through means such as serving as an ambassador to JA within the community, sharing information with community business leaders and elected officials, engaging in social media on behalf of JA, and making introductions to prospective donors and advocates within your personal network.
• Commit to participate in at least two JA annual events or campaigns in the form of publicizing, attending, volunteering, fundraising, etc.

• JA will rely upon these amounts for budgeting purposes, and I commit to pay them.
• My personal financial commitment means that I will contribute at least $2,000.00 in direct donations to JA during the 2024 calendar year. If I contribute to JA special events, only the donation portion of those contributions (minus the amount of goods and services received in exchange for that contribution) will count toward that $2,000.00 commitment amount.
