Our programs, reach, and most importantly our impact on today’s students would not be possible without the 9,500+ volunteers who partner with us each year. We need you!
Our volunteer mentors leave a lasting impression on the students they teach. In fact, 51% of JA alumni have gone on to work in the industry of their JA volunteer!
Last year alone, JA volunteers donated more than 90,000 hours teaching JA programs (an estimated $2.25 million value), which enables JA to leverage all contributions to serve even more students.
TYPES OF VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- In-Classroom: Lead JA lesson plans in K-12 classrooms across Arizona. Does a certain school or age group have your heart? We do our best to match you with your geographic and grade-level preferences!
- Experiential: Help out at one of our student-sized towns, JA BizTown® or JA Finance Park®, or our mobile on-site simulation JA Money in Motion.
- Special Events: Event committee volunteers help with fundraising and event logistics, as well as various tasks the day of events.
- Administrative: Assist JA staff with various projects in our Tempe and Tucson offices.
