JA Our Region
In JA Our Region, students examine regional resources, supply chains, and solve problems by weighing risks and potential rewards. JA Volunteers show how resources are combined to create goods and services that individuals, businesses, and organizations provide to customers.
JA Our City
JA Our City introduces students to the intersection of financial literacy and third-grade social studies learning objectives, including the characteristics of cities and how people and businesses in cities manage their money. JA Our City consists of five 45 minute volunteer led sessions.
JA Our Community
JA Our Community explores work readiness, including careers, production, innovation, earning, taxes, government money, business, and decision-making.
JA Our Families
JA Our Families introduces students to the intersection of entrepreneurship and first grade social studies learning objectives, including how family members’ jobs and businesses contribute to the well-being of the family.
JA Ourselves
JA Ourselves introduces kindergarten students to the intersection of financial literacy and early elementary grades social studies learning objectives. Through hands-on activities, the program provides students with an introduction to personal economics and the choices consumers make to meet their needs and wants.
JA Finance Park Virtual
JA Finance Park Virtual introduces students to personal financial planning and career exploration. This program first provides a series of lessons in the classroom to middle school students where they learn about all aspects of personal finance. They can then apply these skills on a guided virtual platform!
JA Money in Motion Lite
JA Money in Motion Lite offers both an on-site event activity and an online interactive activity that allows students to plan for tomorrow by practicing how they will spend their future income.
Career Speaker Series
In JA Career Speaker Series, a volunteer guest speaker visits the classroom and shares information about his or her career, work, and education experience.
JA Finance Park
Our JA Finance Park® program invests in youth now so they can navigate the financial waters in the future. An experiential, real-life simulation, JA Finance Park first provides a series of lessons in the classroom to middle school students where they learn about all aspects of personal finance including learning about balancing a family budget, interest rates, how education affects their earning potential, and how saving today can affect their future.
JA Biztown
Connecting the dots between what kids learn in school and how it’s applied in the real world isn’t that simple. That’s why we created JA BizTown®, an engaging, hands-on program that introduces 4th, 5th, and 6th graders to economic concepts, workplace skills, and personal and business finances in a student-sized town built just for them.
JA Inspire
JA Inspire is the premier career exploration and readiness program in Arizona that allows learners, middle school to age 25, to explore the careers of the future and equip them with critical career readiness skills, ultimately preparing them for success.
